Naomi Peppard
Naomi Peppard was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1970. A versatile artist, she began painting at an early age. Naomi's work was greatly inspired by her late father Louis Peppard Architect and artist. Naomi first started to explore and develop her interest in landscape painting while on family holidays in Connemara. After leaving school she travelled extensively worldwide including Africa, the Americas, the Far East and the Pacific region. Although drawn by the cultures and colours of foreign lands, Naomi returned to Ireland to paint local scenes. In more recent years, she has also developed a strong connection with Italy, inspiring her from its back streets to its rural countryside. Naomi has exhibited in both, solo and combined shows around Ireland. She's also has had a significant number of commissions from both private and public bodies including the Office of Public Works in conjunction with artist and historian Peter Pearson at Dublin Castle. Some of her art works have been commissioned by the Carlton Hotels, Killeshin Hotel, and Newbridge Shopping Centre in Tullamore. She also has paintings in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, Sligo Park Hotel and AIB Bank in London. Naomi works in both watercolour and oils and her paintings are exhibited regularly in Dalkey Arts Gallery, County Dublin. |
