"Kerry, Chianti & the South Seas" - Recent Paintings by Holly Melia

Please join us for the opening of an exhibition of Holly Melia's recent work,
on Thursday 6th September at 7pm at Dalkey Arts Gallery, which is located at 19 Railway Road, Dalkey.
The Exhibition will be opened by Ann Harris of the Sunday Independent.
These works incorporate animals and the environment around them. This exhibition is a collection of watercoulors from Kerry and Italy, where the artist resides. When Holly paints she feels very close to her subjects even though it may be a wild animal like a dangerous porcupine or a fox.
Her subjects fill the page and more then often they don't fit on the handmade paper she may be using. Even though she lives in Italy she spends a lot of time in her beautiful home in Co. Kerry, where she loves to paint the nature which surrounds her.
The exhibition will run from Thursday 6th - 22nd of September and is free to the public.
Gallery opening hours: Monday through Saturday: 10am-6pm. Sunday 1pm-6pm.
