Dalkey Arts Gallery announces their spring group show Six Men and an Easel.
Please join us on April 10th at 7pm at Dalkey Arts Gallery, which is located at
19 Railway Road, Dalkey, Co. Dublin.
Six Men and an Easel offers a wide variety of works by leading Irish artists -
Gerard Byrne, Caoimhghin O Croidheain, Joby Hickey, John Short, Stephen Vaughan
and Charlie Whisker - some of today’ s most national and internationally recognized artists. The current work comprises watercolour portraits of local scenes by John Short,
vibrant and light oil paintings by Gerard Byrne and highly textured intuitively images by Stephen Vaughan. The colourful cityscapes of Dublin by Caoimhghin O’ Croidheain and the unique simple new wave outlooks by Joby Hickey feature exciting urban viewpoints. The paintings by Charlie Whisker express a different perception on everyday objects, giving a surrealistic feel to the scene. It is in the eye of the observer to experience whether there is a typical male viewpoint of the art.
